Mary Camin
CERT Program Specialist/Southern Nevada CERT Program Manager
Mary began working as the city of Las Vegas CERT Program Specialist and Southern Nevada CERT Program Manager in April 2016. Prior to coming to Las Vegas, Mary worked in emergency management for the Riverside County, California Office of Emergency Services. During her time with Riverside County, Mary worked on the CERT program; the Water and Dam Emergency Response plan; Citizen Corps recruitment and training; and the Access and Functional Needs Shelter Assessment project. Mary is a Certified Emergency Manager in the State of California and holds the Associate Emergency Manager (AEM) credential from the International Association of Emergency Managers. Mary also holds a master's degree in public administration from the University of Southern California, as well as a master's degree in political science from the Catholic University of America.

Fernandez Leary
CERT Instructor
Fernandez has been a CERT instructor since July 2016. Prior to that, he served as the Regional Disaster Program Officer for the Southern Nevada Chapter of the American Red Cross. Fernandez also served 22 years with the Clark County Fire Department, retiring in 2014 as Deputy Fire Chief and Emergency Manager. During his time with the Red Cross, Fernandez deployed to Nogales, Arizona, where he helped provide housing to unaccompanied minors migrating from South America. He also deployed to Dallas, Texas in 2015 to aid with flood relief efforts. During his tenure with the Clark County Fire Department, Fernandez oversaw Nevada Task Force One's Urban Search and Rescue team, as well as a number of urban and rural divisions.

Clyde Tillery, III
CERT Instructor
Clyde has been a CERT instructor since 2004. He was the CERT Coordinator for Tulare and Kings Counties in California from 2005 to 2013. Clyde served 26 years as a firefighter in California. Now retired from firefighting, he currently works for Marriott Vacation's Worldwide Corporation in Loss Prevention and in Fire and Life Safety as a fire inspector. Clyde has also worked for the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) as a Volunteer Agency Liaison since 2004.

Christina Aberle
CERT Instructor
Christina has been a CERT instructor since May 2017. She currently works as the Grants Manager for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Nevada. She previously worked for the American Red Cross of Southern Nevada, where she trained volunteers in disaster preparedness and response activities. Christina also spent 25 years working in law enforcement and retired from the City of Henderson in 2014. She wrote the Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP) for Henderson Municipal Court and was responsible for safety and security activities at the Henderson Justice Facility. She holds a bachelor's degree in criminal justice and a master's degree in crisis and emergency management, both from the University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV).

Michael Lipka
CERT Instructor
Michael has been a CERT instructor since 2017. He has spent the last decade working as the lead technical instructor at Varian Medical Systems, Inc., where he teaches engineering classes primarily in Las Vegas, but occasionally in Australia, China and at Georgia Tech University in Atlanta. Michael is also a Captain in the Civil Air Patrol, NV-802 in Henderson, where he holds the positions of Health Services Officer and Safety Officer. Michael previously worked as a hospital Biomedical Engineer in southeast Wisconsin. He served six years in the United States Navy as a Hospital Corpsman, hospital clinic manager and EMT. Michael holds several degrees, including: a master's degree in Health Care Administration from Southern New Hampshire University and a bachelor's degree in Health Care Management from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, He is a certified Technical Instructor  and licensed Pharmacy Technician in the State of Nevada. 

Rhonda Eidson
CERT Instructor
Rhonda has been a CERT Instructor since 2017. She is currently the Director of Security for the Las Vegas North Premium Outlets, as well as an Independent Infant, Child and Adult First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor with EMS Safety Services. Rhonda previously served as the Assistant Director of Security for Hooters Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. Prior to moving to Las Vegas, Rhonda worked as the Lead Child Abuse Investigator for Weld County, Colorado Judicial District Family Court. She also previously served as a police officer for Lochbuie, Colorado and as a Weld County, Colorado Sheriff Deputy. Prior to working for the town of Lochbuie, Rhonda was Assistant Director of Security and NHRA Safety for Bandimere Speedway. Rhonda is a certified Intermediate Emergency Technician/Paramedic.

Guy DeMarco
Emergency Management Specialist/Marketing & Promotion
Guy began working for the Southern Nevada CERT program and the city of Las Vegas Office of Emergency Management in October 2016.  Guy earned his master's degree in crisis and emergency management from the University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV) in 2015. In 2016, he earned his Associate Emergency Manager (AEM) credential from the International Association of Emergency Managers. Guy previously spent 11 years working for KLAS-TV, the CBS affiliate in Las Vegas, and 5 years for the Las Vegas Sun newspaper. During his tenure with both news organizations, Guy worked as an assignment editor, web content editor, producer and video editor. Guy was nominated for three Emmy Awards for his work as a producer on the programs "Face to Face with Jon Ralston" and "In Business Las Vegas".
